Here are answers to what we anticipate will be commonly asked questions. We will continue supplement this page as additional broadly applicable questions are asked.
IS THERE a cost to attend?
Yes. There will be $10 registration fee to attend the Conference at the Marriott Marquis. If this is cost prohibitive for you to attend, the fee can be waived; ask your Stake Relief Society President to help you with a fee waiver. There is no cost to attend at the Broadcast Locations.
What do I do if i registered, my plans changed and I now cannot attend?
If you registered to attend at the Marriott Marquis and then your plans changed and you will not be attending, please send an email to Jennifer Wilcox (jewilcox@comm.churchofjesuschrist.org) telling her that you wish to un-register. We will be able to refund your $10 registration fee up until May 20, 2026. We hope that even if you are able to cancel after this day, you will still let us know so that someone else can take your reservation. Cancelling your reservation will open your seat up for someone else to attend in NYC. OR you can simply let someone you know who wants to come know that your seat has become available and she can substitute herself in on your registration on the website. We want to assure that every seat is filled.
what is the age to attend?
All women in the USNE Area age 18 or over are invited to attend.
can i bring my children?
Breastfeeding babies in arms are welcome to come along with their nursing mothers (children under 6 months of age). If you are most comfortable nursing in private, there is a nursing room available at the Marriott Marquis. If you are comfortable doing so, you are welcome to breastfeed while in the Conference. We ask that children older than babies in arms (children over 6 months of age) not join their mothers at the Conference as the space will be tightly packed and we want to assure a meaningful and non-distracted experience to all women in attendance.
what to wear?
Come as you are! The Conference will be held in the Marriott Marquis and typical dress is professional attire, but what is most important is that you come! You can similarly come as you are to the Broadcast Locations.
What about lunch?
Box lunches will be provided as part of the Conference at the Marriott Marquis. In order to accommodate as many women as possible in the space, we will be eating our box lunches on our laps. Details on the lunch to follow.
If I drive to the conference, where can i park?
There is valet parking at the hotel, but there are other less expensive options available in the area. Go to spothero.com or parkwhiz.com to reserve a parking spot at a nearby parking lot.
how many women will be attending the conference?
The Conference venue in NYC will accommodate up to 2,000 women and we hope that every seat is filled. If you try to register and registration has closed, please check back every Monday between now and the Conference - as women un-register (maybe their plans changed), those seats will become available on the registration page. If there are no seats available at the Marriott Marquis, look at the Broadcast Locations tab for other locations where you can attend.
What will the conference be like at broadcast locations?
The events at the Broadcast Locations will be at the design of your local Relief Society leaders. Available for broadcast to the Broadcast Locations includes the keynote speakers, the musical numbers and the morning and afternoon plenary panels. Which of these offerings will be utilized at each Broadcast Location may vary. The breakout sessions will not be broadcast.
why should i attend?
Oh Sister! This is going to be an epic gathering of thousands of USNE Area women in NYC and at Broadcast Locations simultaneously discussing and learning together about how to improve our lives, and writing personal commitments of faith in how to better follow Jesus and spread our influence for good. The better question might be why in the world would I not attend? This is an event not to be missed!
